Isn't he cute?! This guy can multi-task – he can me a card OR a treat holder! The treat version has a pocket on the back, with a super yummy Alligator chocolate candy inside! I got the idea for the alligator from Brenda Quintana. You can see her original version here.
The secret to the shape of the head and the inside of the project is the Label Collection Framelits – who knew they would make a perfect alligator head?!
I found a chocolate Alligator treat made by a fabulous candy company here in Minnesota called Abdallah Candies. I put a link to their website below in the supplies.
I decided to design a pocket that would attach to the back of the alligator.

I made the box out of the Wild Wasabi polka dot paper in the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack.
Brenda used the Banner Punch to make the teeth inside the card! It is just perfect! The inside layer is made the same way as the alligators head, just with a smaller framelit from the collection.
The full stamp had the saying "already miss you" at the bottom but I wanted just the alligator and the "See ya later, alligator" portion. So I did some masking.
I placed a post-it note over the part that I didn't want and then inked up the stamp in Gumball Green with the post-it note still in place.
Remove the post-it note and stamp.
