This little vampire bat is dressed to impress in his tails and white tie! So how could you say August is too early for Halloween?! I actually designed this little guy back in mid July for a treat holder swap that I hosted at the Stampin' Up! Convention. I have made a video tutorial, just scroll down to check it out.
Here is a close up of our little bat! Isn't he cute?! The box body is the Fry Box Die. For the ears I used the Elegant Butterfly Punch. The eyes are the 3/4" and 1/2" punches. The mouth/teeth is the Banner Punch out of a curved scrap that was leftover after punching out a circle punch. Watch the video for a better explanation of what I mean!
Here is the video!
The "wings" are made with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine with the Circles Collection Framelits (I used the 4th from largest) and then cut again with the Large Scallop Framelit to get the bat wing look I wanted.
This is what it looks like after you cut it. I cut all the circles in half so I stack them and to do 2 at a time.
The "white tie" is made with the Big Shot and the Gift Bow Die – this little box tie really "dresses" him up! I filled mine with some Reese's Peanut Butter cups. Thank you so much for stopping by today! Click on the picture of the supples below to get to the store!
