For the first time EVER Stampin' Up! is offering 4 new choices for Sale-a-bration for the month of March! The above card features two of them, the beautiful Nature's Perfection stamp set AND the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack. So how do you get TWO sale-a-bration items?! Well, there are two ways.
- Place a $100 order (before tax and shipping) and you will qualify for one free item at every $50 – so you will get two items.
- OR, join my group of passionate paper crafters by purchasing the starter kit and you will get two free Sale-a-bration items! How much is the starter kit? The cost is $99 plus tax (shipping is free) and you get to select $125 product of your choice! Sweet!
The background butterflies are from the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack – you get 12 different patterns in the stack, 2 of each design! I colored on the backside of the vellum (it looks much softer and prettier when colored on the back) with the In Color 2013-2015 Stampin' Write Marker pack – I used Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Pistachio Pudding.
After coloring the back of the 2" x 3" piece of vellum, I used the Stampin' Glue Stick to coat a 2" x 3" piece of Whisper White and stuck on the vellum. Since vellum is see through, you have to be cautious what adhesive you use to attach it to your paper. The glue stick did the trick!
The butterfly image from the Nature's Perfection set works perfectly with the Elegant Butterfly punch – and the rhinestones in the center add some nice bling!
I chose to make my card an Easter greeting – using the Indescribable Gift Stamp Set in Coastal Cabana ink.
We made this card in my Big Shot class this past Monday and we embossed the card with the Spring Flowers embossing folder. We actually used the Texture Boutique machine to do the embossing (this little machine is like a mini Big Shot except it ONLY embosses, doesn't cut out shapes). This card idea was shared with me by fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Amy Storrie. You can see Amy's version, here. Thank you Amy for sharing your beautiful card with me! The stampers in my Big Shot class really enjoyed making this on Monday!
And here is our Whip-it Wednesday mascot, Bella the Whippet. We got some fresh snow so she and I headed out for a wintery walk yesterday!
