Happy Whip-It Wednesday!! What is that? Well, in the dictionary, in this context, it means:
whip
verb (used without object), whipped or whipt, whipping.
On Wednesday I post a project that is quick to "whip" out! Like this darling Christmas card!
And here is the card with Santa instead of the reindeer – also from the Home For Christmas Designer Series Paper!
The patterns in this paper were inspired by vintage Christmas images like this one from the late 1950's and 60's!
The ribbon behind the main image of our card is the Very Vanilla 1-1/4" Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon.
The inside greeting is one of many GREAT Christmas greetings from the Versatile Christmas stamp set.
The outside greeting (this one is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set, the one on the reindeer version is from Versatile Christmas), is punched out with the Word Window punch and then layered on a pieced punched with the Washi Tape punch.
This saying was PERFECT for the inside of the Santa version!
The blue patterned piece with the "snow" also comes from the Home For Christmas paper pack.
There are MANY reindeer images (and Santa images) on one piece of paper, and you get TWO sheets of each design in the pack – well over 30 reindeer out of one sheet.
Which makes this card a PERFECT Christmas card because it is fast and you can get a lot of cards out of one pack of Designer Series Paper!
And now a quick check in with Bella, our Whip-It Wednesday mascot! According to the dictionary (and the American Kennel Club) Bella is a….
whippet
