Happy Whip-It Wednesday! Tired of the traditional colors for your holiday cards? I have the answer! Mint Macaron is a soft, lovely color then is a breath of fresh air! And with these Big Shot folders and dies, this card is fast to make and allows you to "whip" out a batch quickly.
The tree comes from the Peaceful Pines stamp set, the shape AND the ornaments are cut out with the matching Perfect Pines Framelit Dies. The best part – you stamp the image, lay the correct size of pine die (there are three sizes in the set) over the stamped image, and lay the ornament die inside of the tree die. Crank the image through your Big Shot and ta-da! I mounted the tree image on Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and I have some "sparkling" ornaments – beautiful! Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim makes a beautiful, soft bow that coordinates perfectly with my project. I recommend the Fast Fuse or Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive when adhering bows or card stock to the glitter coated paper. I used the Fast Fuse.
Behind the glimmer is a narrow layer of shiny silver foil paper – it adds elegance and helps the star "shine". The star was punched out of the Silver Glimmer Paper with the star from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.
The inside greeting comes from the Cup Of Cheer stamp set – I love Christmas stamps that use wording from traditional Christmas songs!
The Boughs and Berries Embossing Folder adds some beautiful texture to our card.
