Yay! This month's blog hop is about SPRING and FLOWERS! Two of my favorite things!
Today's card is simple but stunning – which is my favorite kind of card! The Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper will be leaving us soon – it is retiring and is now available only while supplies last. I love this paper – I think I have gone through 4 packages! To see the full list of retiring items, go to the bottom of this post.
The Pool Party Glitter Ribbon is also retiring – it adds the perfect bit of sparkle to this card!
The dimensions for this quick and easy card are Mint Macaron – 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", Blushing Bride – scrap piece to punch, Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper – 1 1/2" x 5 1/2", Whisper White – 5 1/4" x 4" (inside of card) and a scrap to punch out the greeting.
It's fun to stamp on the inside of the card – this long stamp image from the Birthday Blooms stamp set is a perfect accent to frame the inside greeting.
Speaking of spring flowers – last week I was in Salt Lake City for the Stampin' Up! OnStage Live event. Temple Square was covered in flowers of all colors and description – I don't think I've ever seen so many varieties of tulips and daffodils! Beautiful!!
Fortunately even though our growing season here in Minnesota is not that far along, it's nice to know I can have flowers any time I want them with just a quick visit to my stamp room! Full supply list for this card is at the bottom of this post.
Now it's time to hop along to see what BJ Peters has to share!
Or if you are starting here, you can go back to see Diane Evans lovely project!
