Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for April. Baby Love is the theme this month. Get ready for some creative inspiration by some of the finest paper crafters in the world!
Sweet and simple is what I think for baby cards. I love the soft white look of this card – and you actually don’t need any specific “baby” stamp sets to make it!
The Elegant Dots embossing folder makes a perfect, soft background topped off with the White Satin Ribbon (retiring).
I cut three 1 1/4″ squares and then punched three squares with my 1″ square punch (retiring). I layered a dimensional on the bottom square and on the top layering square to give my card lots of depth.
The sweet little hearts were punched with the little heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (retiring) out of So Saffron, Soft Sky, and Pink Pirouette card stock. I added a little “bling” with a small rhinestone on each heart.
Soft and sweet – just like a baby! Speaking of babies – we are awaiting the arrive of some babies around here! Well, baby dogs that is!
This is my 6 year old Whippet, Bella a few months ago. As you can see, Whippets are normally very slender dogs.
Except when puppies are expected – this is Bella now! I actually got to feel the puppies kicking around inside tonight – pretty amazing! They arrive in just 2 1/2 weeks.
Here is the proud papa! Puppy pictures will be coming to my blog soon!
