Creative Inking Blog Hop: Let’s Sale-a-brate!

The patterns in the Carried Away Designer Paper perfectly coordinate with the Lift Me Up stamp set and framelits!  I used two different patterns behind the detailed ballon. 

The die set comes with stripes that coordinate with the detailed balloon so that you can easily make a multicolored balloon for your project.  I cut 3" x 3" squares and cut the paper so that it alternated on the ballon. 

To attach the paper to the back of the detailed balloon die-cut I laid the detailed balloon face down on a scrap paper, then I sponged Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the balloon and attached the designer paper strips.

Sponging keeps from getting too much glue on your project so that you don't have it oozing on to the front of the die-cut. One of my customers told me about this technique and I have been using it on all the detailed die-cuts to attach them!

I stamped the greeting in Watermelon Wonder and punched it with the Triple Banner Punch. A small piece of Watermelon Wonder Mini-striped Grosgrain Ribbon is attached with a glue dot.
