Simple but elegant are my favorite type of cards! Today's card is soft and sweet with Very Vanilla cardstock and Cherry Cobbler ink pad. Where is the paper from? It is actually from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog and it is called This Christmas! It has some Christmas Patterns, and some that are year-round – like the pattern I used here (and the musical notes pattern that also comes in this pack). I started by stamping the floral heart on my piece of Very Vanilla card stock 4" x 5 1/4". Then I cut it out with one of the dies from the Love Notes Framelits. This left a heart shape in my card stock and gave me a cute cut out heart to embellish my card!
Here is a photo of the Love Notes Framelits Dies – I used the larger heart that has the "bar" down the middle. The die cuts an out and inner edge and scores down the middle so you can have the heart pop up.
The new Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin ribbon is so elegant! It is perfect for this project!
On the inside of the card I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day message in Cherry Cobbler.
