Welcome to the Thailand Trip Achievers blog hop. The full list of participating bloggers is below in case you get off track at any time. Right now, you are visiting Susan Campfield (suestampfield).
I'm excited to share these adorable treat holders today made with the Seasonal Chums Stamp Set and the Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies! The front side is adorable….
…but look how cute their little backsides are!! I have a video tutorial and a photo tutorial below.
I absolutely love my Stampin' Write markers! To color this one I used Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon-Lime Twist, Cucumber Crush, and Daffodil Delight.
WAY less coloring on this version! I stamped in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake so the deer was already the right color. Then I used the Watercolor Pencils to color the ears, bow, bell, nose, hooves, and cheek. I used the Blender Pen to color the antlers and spots by just bleeding the ink from the outline to color the interior.
These clever tag stamps are all one piece so they fold in half to make a tag – or a "tent" topper for a treat bag or box. The little box holds a tiny treat (in this case a single Hershey's Rolo). If you want a larger treat…
…then you want to cut the tag apart (the snowman holds a single packaged Mentos Mint from Walgreen's).
This video will walk you through how to make the treat holder. (In the video I'm using the A Little Wild Stamp Set with the Little Loves Framelit dies from the regular catalog but the holder is the same.)
Cut and score your "box".
Cut out the two larger outside squares.
Assemble the box with Tear & Tape or glue dots.
Stamp the image and cut it out with the matching framelit dies.
If you are "tenting" the image (like the reindeer and jack-o-lantern) just fold it in half.
If you want the upper portion open for a larger item, cut straight across to separate the two sides.
Hold the two sides back to back, then use scissors to cut off the tag hole and round the jagged areas.
Now attach your image to the box with Tear & Tape. Thank you so much for stopping by today!!
