Hello! The rustic look is so trendy right now, I love how you can easily achieve a rustic look on your hand made cards by using the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. Neutral colors are a great way to make cards with an elegant touch – but I'm a little worried that after yesterday's acorn card in neutrals you will think that I only use neutrals! So I added a colorful card that I made with this same bundle near the bottom of this post!
I adhered Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets on the back of the Wood Textures paper before I cut out the "Happy Birthday" words with the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die. Then I peeled off the backing and adhered it to my project. For a vintage touch I added a bow using the Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim.
For the inside of the card I used some of the images from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set which coordinates with the Happy Birthday Thinlits. They are stamped in Early Espresso ink and I punched out the frame with the Classic Label Punch and popped it up on some Mini Dimensionals.

Just to prove that I can stamp in colors – I'm adding this card in too. I love this color combination of Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist. I used the same Happy Birthday Gorgeous bundle to create this card – the polka dots on the "Happy Birthday" words are from the polka dot balloon that comes in the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.
