Simple but striking is my idea of the perfect handmade Christmas card – like this lovely card! I used the Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper. The stamp comes from the Labels To Love stamp set which coordinates beautifully with the new Everyday Label Punch. I stamped the greeting in Archival Basic Black on Whisper White card stock and then punched it out with the Everyday Label Punch. Then I used the same punch to punch out a black label. I turned it a quarter turn and attached it behind the greeting. It gives you a nice layered look on your card and adds depth and size to the greeting which is the focal point of the card.
I used the same technique of punching a black label, turning it, and adding it as a layer on this card. Click on the photo to read the details for this card (another simple but striking Christmas card!).
I embellished the tag with the beautiful Black Rhinestone Jewels. These simple self sticking black rhinestones are my favorite embellishment in the Holiday Catalog – they dress up a card beautifully and are a great addition to your embellishment collection!

Here is a quick peek at the inside of the card! I used the Every Good Wish stamp set for the inside greeting. For the holly and berries stamp I colored directly on the stamp with my Garden Green and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers.
We have been having a beautiful fall in Minnesota the last two months, but now the weather…
is starting to turn! As soon as the snow starts falling (we had our first snowfall last Friday), I start thinking of Christmas!
Dimensions:
Basic Black: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded in half, scrap for punch.
Real Red: 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" (two, one for the inside layer)
Whisper White: 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" (inside greeting), scrap for stamping and punching
