I've been having a lot of fun today with my Broadway Star Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin kits arrive at your door once a month with a fun crafting project inside! I thought I would share two of the cards I made this evening with the kit (the third project is an exclusive from my Paper Pumpkin subscribers).
This simple but happy card starts with a Lovely Lipstick card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and folded in half. I added a layer of Basic Black 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". The other elements are stickers and adhesive sequins from this month's Paper Pumpkin kit.
To make this sweet little card I grabbed one of our notecards and envelopes and added a 2" x 3 1/2" piece of Basic Black cardstock to the center of the notecard. I used an adhesive strip that was a leftover edge from the Lovely Lipstick adhesive rectangles in the kit and adhered it to the center of the black piece. The cake is a die cut from the kit – I popped it up with the Mini Dimensionals from the kit and stamped the greeting with the Momento Tuxedo Black ink pad. For the final touch I added a little bow with Lovely Lipstick. So quick and easy!
