Welcome! Today's blog hop is all about the beautiful Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog! Too pretty to use you say?! No! If you love it, chop it and share that beauty with all your friends and family on your beautiful hand made cards!
Right now I am just in LOVE with the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper! Beautiful dies (Petal Label Dies) + beautiful stamps (Path of Petals) + beautiful Designer Series Paper (Pressed Petals) = a beautiful card!
Why is it called a specialty paper? Because this paper is a lighter weight then the standard Stampin' Up! designer paper and you get FOUR sheets of every gorgeous pattern!! So if you must hoard it – just hoard one sheet and use the others!
This photo shows all of the glorious patterns in the pack. The first sheet, on the left, is meant to be cut into sections that are "ready to go" card fronts or scrapbook page embellishments.
It's always fun to make the inside of the card pretty too! I used Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow ink pads. For perfect placement of the flowers on to the leaves use the Stamparatus stamp positioning tool.
This bundle of the gorgeous stamp set Path of Petals and the matching Petal Label Dies made this card super easy to do!
The final touch was the Scalloped Lace Trim with a simple knot at the top, and three Basic Pearls in the bottom right corner.
