Who new you could create such a gorgeous flower with washi tape?! Check out my Facebook Live video below where I walk you through how to make this gorgeous card!!
The Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape comes with 100 sticky petals – ready to make this realistic looking flower! You also get a roll of the pretty vintage tape that I used across the card front behind the flower. The flower center is from the Designer Elements pack (comes with gold, copper, and silver, 12 of each color) and they already have a glue dot on them, ready to go!
The die cut image behind the flower (and I have one laying in front of the card in this photo), is cut with the Petal Label Dies from Merry Merlot cardstock – it's the perfect elegant backdrop for this washi tape flower! And the detailed Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder is the perfect layer for the card front – love the realistic texture from this embossing folder! Remember with the new 3D folders add a chipboard piece to your embossing "sandwich" or use the new 3D Embossing Folder Plate for this deeply embossed look!
I used the Path of Petals stamp set for the inside greeting. Here are the cardstock measurements, the full list of supplies is at the bottom of this post:
Very Vanilla 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" and folded for card base
Very Vanilla 4" x 5 1/4"
Very Vanilla scrap to punch 1" circle for flower base
Merry Merlot 2" x 3 1/4"
Mossy Meadow scrap to punch to sets of leaves
Here is the Facebook Live video showing how to make the flower. Special thanks to demonstrator Cindy Brumbaugh for her tips with the clear block!
