Window Visions Fun Fold Cards!

…the first Window Vision is fully revealed with this gorgeous multicolored wave. This card was created with the stunning Waves of the Ocean collection and features this “magical” wave stamp. There is another beautiful scene inside. This lovely vision is designed so that it also shows through the porthole window for display.

The second window vision! The lucky recipient of this card can stand it for display to show either of the Window Visions. The porthole on the card front was inspired by a card demonstrator Tammy Beard made a few years ago with the Sailing Home stamp set. There are SO many possibilities with this fun fold design. I had a lot of fun creating different “windows”. Let’s look at some of the other versions!

This version of the Waves of the Ocean Porthole card features more of the beautiful designer paper instead of the stamped wave image.

This was the featured project packet for this month’s event. Customers who placed a $50 order with me last month (before tax and shipping) received a make-n-take packet in the mail from me to make this card. They were also invited to watch the video below where I make the project, show them how to assemble it, and I share other versions using the same fun fold. The parts for this project certainly beautified my kitchen island when I was loading the packets – so pretty! This version features the adorable Easter Friends stamp set paired with the Encircled In Beauty dies. Perfect for making beautiful windows! The bunny is our first window vision, and the adorable chick is the second vision. This card features the pretty Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper – the perfect spring feel for this card! The bunny and chick are quick to color with watercolor pencils. I have step by step directions in the tutorial bundle for how to color the animals, you will be amazed at how easy it is.

The Welcoming Window bundle was ideal for this fun fold. AND it’s on sale this month! I even added a Window Sheet to the window for this version. I figured out a little “trick” to perfectly hide the window plastic so that our window looks nice on both sides. And I built an easy “table” with the dies in the set! The step by step tutorial bundle has all of the details. The stamps and dies in this set are cleverly designed to go together and are a lot of fun to create with.

More fun with Window Visions! This time the Stitched Rectangle dies are paired with the Artistically Inked bundle and the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper with gorgeous results. The results were so stunning that I created two versions. This first version features an open window with the floral bouquet and a pretty embossed panel inside.

The second version with the Expressions In Ink Suite has a vellum covered window for a soft, pretty view. The full instructions for both versions are in the tutorial bundle.

This fun fold had so many window options for creating that I had to keep going! Here are two more!

The Grassy Grove bundle is another perfect way to create Window Visions. This first version has two windows and one “scene”. By cutting an inner window with the die there is a stunning “shadow” effect created by the inner window. The beautiful New Horizons Designer Series paper creates a lovely “vision”scene! The greeting panel for this card is on the back.

This 2nd Grassy Grove card is very simple, but just as stunning! The two visions are different patterns of the New Horizons Designer Series Paper. Beautiful! This version was inspired by demonstrator Terri Gaines.
