The Marvelous Fun Fold Card - Simply Marvelous!

These gorgeous fun fold cards have a center that pops out and then stands for display. Wow your friends and family with this easy card fold. I created the Marvelous Fun Fold Card design for the December Suestampfield Crafternoon Creative Escape.

When the Marvelous Fun Fold Card is closed, it looks just like a regular, landscape style card. This version features the new Perennial Lavender Suite of products – how gorgeous is this suite?? This beautiful suite is in the new mini catalog which begins on January 4th.

When the card is open…wow! One of the things that I love about the Marvelous Fun Fold card is that the focal point on the front of the card becomes the center of the inside of the card when it is opened. This makes decorating the card much faster because the outside of the card is also the inside of the card! Let’s learn more about the new Marvelous Fun Fold card style! Why is it called the Marvelous Fun Fold card? From the top down it forms an M!

When I designed the Marvelous Fun Fold card, I made most of the embossed panels and Designer Paper panels the same size, 2″ x 4″, so that they are all interchangeable AND to make the most out of the 12″ x 12″ Designer Papers.

This version is so pretty in Boho Blue! The stamp set and embossing folder are a bundle called Softly Sophisticated. How cute is this Sending Love bundle with the working mailbox?? The flag raises and lowers (see my tips in the tutorial for how to keep it from flopping back down) and you can actually slide things into the mailbox! The tutorial has some tips so that you can make beautiful and smooth mailboxes with this die set. All the instructions are in the step-by-step tutorial.

Cute! With the dies you can make an adorable mini envelope with an equally adorable mini card inside. It slides right into the mailbox!

The “backside” of the mini card is the heart pattern and the “front” has gold foil flowers with a stamped heart layer.

This adorable Marvelous Fun Fold card is so cute! Or should I call this one Moo-velous??

The new Cutest Cows bundle is absolutely adorable! This one uses the cute Zoo Crew paper along with the Most Adored Sale-a-bration Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I used the spotted pattern from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper because it was so cute with the spotted cow! It is hard to see in this photo, but the center panels are embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder. The wood grain in the folder made me think of a barn, so it seemed to fit the theme of the card.

I love the fun sayings in the Cutest Cow stamp set. So in the step-by-step tutorial I have step-by-step instructions for three different wording options. THREE – holy cow!!

This Countryside Inn Marvelous Fun Fold card was the make-n-take version for the December Crafternoon – and it is gorgeous!

This pretty version of the Marvelous Fun Fold card was the make and take for this month’s Crafternoon virtual class. Customers who placed a product order of $50 in my Stampin’ Up! online store before tax and shipping in November received the packet in December to make this card along with me in the video. The front of the card features the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder, the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, and the Countryside Corner dies. The sentiment is from the Throughout the Year stamp set (love the font on this one!).

Inside the card is more of the beautiful Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper. The “sprigs” behind the sentiment are die cut with the Natural Prints dies to make it extra fancy!

More versions of the Marvelous Fun Fold card with the Perennial Lavender Suite – this time focused on the beautiful Perennial Lavender Designer Paper

This version I made exclusively for my direct team members. We gather quarterly for our virtual and in person Stamp Party and we always make a special version of the newest Crafternoon fold before it has been released. So each of my direct team members received a packet to make this pretty card.

The inside is the same as the Painted Lavender version at the beginning of this blog post. But I also gave them options to mix and match.

All I did differently in this version was to put the Softly Sophisticated embossed panels on the inside of the card, and the purple pattern of the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper on the outside. In other words, mix & match! I purposefully made most of the panels on the cards interchangeable for this reason – I love to mix it up!
