Happy Whip-it Wednesday! The Winter Wonderland Specialty Paper with it's shiny finish and colors of black, gold, and white – is perfect for New Year's Cards. Although when we made this card at my Breakfast Club we all agreed it would also make a great anniversary, graduation, or wedding cards too!
The best part is that this beautiful paper is on SALE right now with the end of the year clearance – woo hoo! Click here to see the clearance deals – new items were just added this week!
The bottom layer of this card – the black with the embossed diagonal stripes, comes from the the Color Me Irresistible Paper – which is on sale this week as part of the weekly deals – woo hoo! Click here to see the weekly deals!
Inside the card I used the Greeting Thinlits Dies (the word "Cheers" seemed appropriate). Then I put a piece of Tear & Tape inside of the card, peeled off the backing, and attached the "Cheers" die cut. Then I sprinkled Gold Glitter over the remaining exposed adhesive – ta da! A sparkly, happy, surprise when the recipient opens the card.
The greeting comes from the absolute BEST greeting set ever – Teeny Tiny Wishes! I have had this set for years and I still use it all the time! I just love how it fits so perfectly in the Word Window punch, and how it covers every holiday and special occasion.
Whip-it Wednesday mascot: Here is a picture of Bella the Whippet with "seven swans a swimming" – well, actually it was 9 swans that we ran into on the lake last week. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
