What a great blog hop theme we have this month – Love Is All Around. Although Valentine's Day is generally thought of as a holiday for sweethearts, it is also a perfect time to tell friends and family that you love them! And nothing says love better then a card that you took the time to make yourself!
Today's card is a cutie! I designed this for my Hearts & Valentine's Stamp-A-Stack that I have a few weeks ago. The stamp set is called "Friends & Flowers" and it coordinates with the Festive Flower punch from the Holiday Catalog – the punch that matched the Poinsettia set.
Isn't that bunny face stamp adorable?! After I stamped the images in the Archival Basic Gray ink I used the Pink Pirouette marker from the Subtles Collection to color the cheeks and line the ears. The Real Red 1/4" Cotton Ribbon makes a jaunty bow tie!
The inside greeting is from the "And Many More" stamp set – I used some oval punches to give it a pop of color.
The small heart on the front was punched out of the Red Glimmer paper with the small heart from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. It really adds some sparkle to this card!
The "You Are Loved A Lot" stamp is from the new Grateful Bunch stamp set from the Occasions catalog. Can you think of someone who would love to get this card for Valentine's Day? Or any day?
Thanks for hopping by – now it is time to hop on over to B.J. Peter's blog to see what fun, creative project she has come up with!
