It's big, bold, and beautiful!! I'm so excited about this new Sending Flowers die set that Stampin' Up! released on February 4th as part of the Coordination Product Release! This die set is ONLY available until March 31st or while supplies last – so get yours today so that you don't miss out! Which color combo do you like best?
Paired with a pretty designer series paper (I like to choose patterns that are not too busy so that the die cut flowers really pop) it makes simple but beautiful cards! I added 3 Red Rhinestones in the centers of the 3 largest flowers for a little "bling". So fun! The card front is mounted on Dimensionals and some of the flowers have mini Dimensionals – I found I preferred the flowers popped up from the Designer Paper. I have a video below with tips on how to best cut this GINORMOUS die and tips on how to assemble the cards and a PDF Tutorial for you to download.
Here is a photo of all the dies that come in the Sending Flowers Dies set. The floral die cut is HUGE, 4" in diameter! You also get two dies that have flower sets on them so if you want to do varied colors of flowers it is easy to cut those and add them to the stems!
I made 3 versions – for this one I paired the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper with Rich Razzleberry for the the greeting layer. The rhinestones on the flowers (3 again) are the pink rhinestones from the sheet of Noble Peacock Rhinestones (which has a variety of colors).
The blue version uses the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper, the blue rhinestones are from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and the bow is from the Metallic Baker's Twine and Sequins Combo Pack which is a FREE Sale-a-bration choice at the $50 level.
I kept the inside of the card fairly simple. Just stamped my greeting with the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set (which I also used on the front of the card) and attached some of the flowers that I die cut from the extra dies that come with the Sending Flowers Dies. I used the sequins from the FREE Metallic Baker's Twine and Sequins Combo Pack in the flower centers on the blue version. See the tutorial below for photos of the insides of the other two cards.
Here is the Facebook Live video with tips on how to make these pretty cards and tips on the best way to cut this detailed die.
