I love fun folds! Today I'm excited to share the Double Z Fold featuring the Painted Poppies bundle. I have a link to a free step by step photo tutorial for you below and a video walking you through the project.
Here is what the card looks like when it is closed. This version uses the pretty Rich Razzleberry cardstock and coordinating Stampin' Blends to color the poppy.
And here is how it opens. Can you see the double Z?!
Stampin' Blends work great to color the images, you can really add some detailed shading with the combo pack – and if you go outside of the lines you can use the Color Lifter to fix it! In the PDF tutorial below a walk you through how to color with the Stampin' Blends.
I designed this card for my recent Stmap-A-Stack event – it was a hit! The attendees made 12 cards (4 designs, 3 of each design). They made 2 Poppy and 1 Razzleberry of this design. I'm sharing all of the designs this week in my Suestampfield Facebook Group – I would love to have you join me there, everyone is welcome!
The layer behind the poppy is a die cut label from the Painted Label Dies – not only does it cut the die shape but it adds an embossed detail around the border, so pretty! When you purchase the Painted Poppies bundle you get both the dies and the stamp set for a 10% savings.
The inside greeting is from the FREE Sale-a-bration Sending You Thoughts stamp set!
The Poppy is popped up with Dimensionals. And the Glittered Organdy Ribbon is the perfect finishing touch! I love to pair this ribbon with the Poppies!
Here is the video of this project from the Facebook Live on my Facebook page.
I have a free PDF Tutorial for you HERE.
Thank you SO much for stopping by today! Which color is your favorite, Poppy Parade or Rich Razzleberry? I love them both – just can't decide!!
Susan
