Cute! What fun to make these for each of your Easter dinner guests to have at their spot! I have a video and a free PDF tutorial for you to download!
It's fun to decorate the back side of the box basket too!
The adorable bunny is from the Welcome Easter stamp set – which also has a lamb and a chick, all are super cute! I used the Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend to color the bunny and I lightened the color on her cheeks with the Color Lifter.
The new So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Paper was perfect for this spring themed project – it is a NEW Sale-a-bration choice, free with a $50 order while supplies last or until March 31st. This paper will go fast, don't miss out! The colors are Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam, and Purple Posy. You get 2 12" x 12" sheets of each color in the pack.
The sweet posy flower dies that I used on the front and back of the box are from the Sending Flowers Dies – it is part of the Product Coordination Release and is only available while supplies last or until March 31st. I added some "bling" with the pink rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones pack.
Two Ghirardelli Bunnies and Eggs chocolates fit perfectly in the box or one Russell Stovers Chocolate Egg is also a perfect fit!
The box base was a piece of cardstock that I scored and cut, see the tutorial below for the dimensions. I decorated the box with some of the stitched scalloped rectangle dies from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. These dies are have become one of my "go to" dies this spring – I just love the delicate scallop and stitching on this project!
The ribbon handle is attached with Tear & Tape, the Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Purple Posy matches the scallop dies giving the perfect finishing touch to this project!
Here is a video showing how to make the box!
