WV Fancy Fun Fold Card

This WV Fancy Fun Fold card features the new Eden’s Garden Collection. Or you can recreate the same fold with your own supplies.

What is a WV Fancy Fun Fold card?! The base of the card forms an upside down “W” and the insert piece forms a “V”. So it’s called a WV card! See the video towards the bottom of this post for the steps to make this easy but glamorous card. By the way, isn’t this brand new Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper gorgeous?! Card Details and Photos

This is what the front of the card looks like when it is closed. The left side of the card is where the accordion folds are. I love using lots of white on cards – especially when you have a dark gorgeous Designer Paper like this one!

I stamped the large greenery image with berries in Evening Evergreen for the base of the focal point. Then it was time for the gorgeous Eden Dies to spring into action! I cut two of the branches from a different pattern of the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper. Then I cut two of the small oval shaped “berry wreath” dies. One in Gold Foil and one in the Evening Evergreen Cotton Paper. Then I cut each oval wreath apart into six pieces. With two on each card that gave me enough to make 3 cards from one set of ovals. I used the gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls package on the “berries” in the stamped image.

To decorate the other side of the “V” portion I used the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper. I stamped the “Sending Hugs” sentiment from the Eden’s Garden set (my favorite!!) in Evening Evergreen ink. Then I punched it out with the Double Oval Punch – a perfect fit!

In this photo you can see the upside down “W” and “V” that give this card it’s name. It’s a bit like a Double Z Fold card (click here to see a Double Z Fold Card), but the accordion fold makes in unique. Special thanks to demonstrator Dawn Olchefske for sharing this fun fold style!
