The finished size of the 8-piece Puzzle Slider when closed is 4″ x 5-1/2″. The finished size of the 4-piece Puzzle Slider version is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″

This version of the Puzzle Slider 4-Piece card was the make and take for the April Crafternoon virtual class. Customers who placed a product order of $50 in my Stampin’ Up! online store before tax and shipping in March received the packet in April to make this card along with me in the video.

Our make-n-take Flowering Zinnias Puzzle Slider 4-Piece card features the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper, the Simply Zinnia dies, and the Sweetly Scripted stamp set. Such a happy card! The Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper is so bright and happy that I chose not to cover any of it up with a greeting. However, you can certainly add a greeting on a die cut label to the front if you prefer.

When I have a fun fold that shows off beautiful Designer Series Papers – I immediately think of Perennial Lavender! The awesome dies are the Nested Essential dies which are carrying over to the new catalog. The soon-to-be retired Go To Greetings stamp set has elegant sentiments that are perfect for this elegant paper.

Oops. Can you tell the patterns don’t quite match up? This was my prototype when I was designing the fold, so I wasn’t really paying attention to how I cut the pieces. It was so pretty that I just had to finish it! In the step-by-step tutorial I have a photo tutorial of how it SHOULD have been cut – lol.

A birdhouse in the lavender field! I just HAD to pair the brand new Country Birdhouse bundle (coming on May 1st) with the beautiful Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. A perfect match! All the directions are in the tutorial and these cards are super easy to make – just make sure to keep the puzzle pieces in order like I show you in the tutorial. Such a pretty card to make and send – it is sure to brighten someone’s day!

I just love the look of the staggered puzzle pieces – it is so striking!

The beautiful Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper has so many amazing patterns – I had to do another Puzzle Slider with it! This time I featured the Thoughtful Journey paper on both the front and the inside. The sentiments are from the new Country Flowers stamp set and the label dies are from Countryside Corners.

The inspiration for this Puzzle Slider fold came from Sam at Mixed Up Crafts Double Staggered Z Fold Card. Sam’s 6″ x 6″ card had 12 pieces and was made by connecting two card bases together. I loved the look but wanted a card that would fit in an A2 envelope and without so many pieces. So I designed this version to be made with a single card base and will less pieces, but still tried to keep the fun staggered look.

In this top down view you can see how the card is constructed. There are mini z fold sections on each end that give the card stability.

One last Puzzle Slider Card for you – this one is another 4-piece version!

These quick and easy cards are fun to make, they are pretty addictive! I wanted to make one more Thoughtful Journey version as a 4-piece puzzle. Simply gorgeous.

The tutorial can be downloaded and printed out to refer to while you craft. Or you can save the tutorial to your device and look at them that way. The tutorial includes measurements, photos, written instructions, and a list of all the supplies.
