This creative fold was from the Suestampfield Crafternoon Creative Escape at the end of December. The special Horizontal Curtain Call card folds up flat to fit in a standard envelope and spreads out to stand for display!
Are you looking for new and unique fun fold card ideas? I have Five Fabulous cards to share with you today! All of these cards are part of the Suestampfield December Crafternoon Creative Escape. Each month I design a fun fold and then make many different designs using that fold. The featured fun fold for December was the Horizontal Curtain Call card. I have a step by step video for you at the bottom of this post on how to assemble this style of fun fold card. I also have an option to purchase a detailed step-by-step tutorial bundle for ALL of the projects shown in this blog post.
The lucky person that you send this card to can display your artwork for all to see! What a beautiful way to let friends and family know that you care for them! This horizontal version is a twist on the vertical Curtain Call Cards that I designed for the October Crafternoon. I re-designed the entire card layout to make this landscape style for the December Crafternoon.
Beautiful Valentine Card with the Country Floral Lane Suite!
Impress your family and friends when you create and share this beautiful Horizontal Curtain Call card. This gorgeous Valentine card features products from the Stampin’ Up! January – April Mini Catalog, including the beautiful Country Bouquet bundle, the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper, Country Gingham Designer Series Paper, and the adorable Heart Pearls – simply stunning! The “Love” die cut is from the Love For You Dies.
Although the card expands to make a lovely display, it also collapses down so that it can slide easily into a standard envelope. The version below uses a different pattern from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper- so pretty! The “I love that we are friends” sentiment is perfect for Galentine’s Day!
These cards were designed for my Stampfield Stars direct team members. It was the make and take project at our December in person and virtual gatherings. But you can get all the directions in the detailed step-by-step tutorial!
Winter White for the Crafternoon Make-n-Take!
When I designed this card I wanted a beautiful wintery look but with flowers! Customers who placed a $50 order (before tax and shipping) in November, received the packet to make this gorgeous Horizontal Curtain Call card in December.
This beautiful card is made with products from the Annual Catalog including: the Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper, the True Beauty Bundle, the Designer Tags. I especially love the gorgeous rose cut out from these dies so I had to add it inside the card! Of course, the lovely texture comes from the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder! In the photo below you can see how the card folds up to easily slide in to the envelope.
DOUBLE Horizontal Curtain Call Card with Dainty Flowers!
That’s right, it says DOUBLE! This one has a second curtain inside the first that is even prettier than the first curtain!! I walk you through how to do it in the step-by-step tutorials! In the tutorial I also have detailed instructions on how to cut the Designer Paper so that the card will turn out perfectly!
The Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper is a free choice with a qualifying order of $50 before tax and shipping during Sale-a-bration. The greeting on the front is from the Dainty Delight bundle which coordinates with this free paper. I used the Double Oval Punch to punch out the sentiment and the layer.
This Dainty Flowers paper truly makes card making a breeze – it is so beautiful!
Fancy Flora Horizontal Curtain Call Card with the Something Fancy Bundle
A beautiful way to send loving thoughts of sympathy to a dear friend. On the outside is the sympathy sentiment from the Something Fancy bundle and on the inside the Sale-a-bration Sending Support stamp set has the perfect inside message. This Sending Support stamp set is a free choice when you place a $50 order before tax and shipping in January or February.
In the step-by-step tutorial I walk you through how to cut the patterned paper so that your card looks just like this one and so that you can make the most of your Designer Series Paper!
Stunning Masculine Horizontal Curtain Call card with the Enjoy The Journey Designer Series Paper.
The Enjoy The Journey Designer Series Paper is absolutely stunning! Perfect for masculine cards and people who love the outdoors! The sentiments are from the Celebrating You stamp set and, once again, I used the Something Fancy dies. Once again, I give you detailed instructions in the step-by-step tutorial on how to cut the patterned paper so that you can recreate this card.
Below you can see all the stunning papers in the Enjoy The Journey Designer Series Paper! I used the first paper in the first row, and the first paper (both sides) in the second row. Of course, you can make this same card in the blue greens too when you use the opposite edge of the paper.
It’s easy to join the virtual monthly Crafternoon event – I hope you join us next month!

I watch your videos and receive updates. Always amazed how beautiful your designs are.:).
I’m only learning, made one of your cards for my 93yr old Auntie. I was so happy how it looked ☺
I live in Scotland, watch a few Demonstrators how to make cards. Ruth Trice from Wales designs one sheet wonders. A real inspiration and very thankful for talented Demo’s to teach both experienced and more so a beginner like me ☺
Thank you for your step by step instructions without them I would struggle to keep up.
It may feel you are repeating yourself, maybe thinking everyone knows how to ink, emboss etc but always card makers like me who are still learning the basics, how to stamp straight 😁 Demo’s make it look ever so easy.
Thank you from an avid but keen learner ☺
Thank you so much for your kind words Caroline! Happy creating!
